Ingredients

  • 1 Pint(s) Vodka
  • 2 tsp Wormwood
  • 2 tsp Anise
  • .5 tsp Fennel
  • 4 Cardamom
  • .5 tsp Coriander
  • 2 tsp Angelica Root

Instructions

Steep Wormwood:

  • Steep 2 tsp wormwood in 1 pint of vodka for 48 hours.

Remove Wormwood:

  • After 48 hours, remove the wormwood from the vodka.

Add Remaining Herbs:

  • Add 2 tsp anise, 0.5 tsp fennel, 4 cardamom pods, 0.5 tsp coriander, and 2 tsp angelica root to the vodka.

Steep for a Week:

  • Allow the mixture to steep for one week, shaking occasionally.

Strain and Age:

  • Strain the mixture to remove the herbs and transfer the liquid to a clean bottle. Age for at least one week to allow the flavors to meld.

Serve:

  • Enjoy your homemade absinthe liqueur in traditional preparations or cocktails.
